Architectural Criticism, its Audience(s) and its Actors is a series of public lectures to be held on June 13, 2019, in Rennes, at the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme en Bretagne. The event is organized by the Mapping Architectural Criticism team and by the Research Team EA1279 Histoire et critique des arts of the Université Rennes 2, with the support of the Université Bretagne Loire and of the Université Rennes 2, and in collaboration with the Archives de la Critique d’Art.
Applications are open for the Master in History, Theories, Criticism of Architecture, organized by the Université Rennes 2 and the ENSA Bretagne.

Hélène Jannière, Director and Scientific Coordinator of the program, will deliver a keynote speech entitled 1964. French criticism and its discontents: à propos of a special issue of L’Architecture d’Aujourd’hui.
Hélène Jannière, Scientific Coordinator of Mapping Architectural Criticism, and Rute Figueiredo, an Associate Member of the program, alongside Roula Matar-Perret, participated in the latest session of the program 1959-1985, au prisme de la Biennale de Paris, organized by the INHA, in collaboration with the Bibliothèque Kandinsky (Centre Georges Pompidou), the Archives de la critique d’art and the INA. The session took place at the Archives de la Critique d’Art in Rennes on March 19, 2019, and it was entitled Biennales d’architecture, l’architecture à la Biennale (de Paris) : questionner les limites disciplinaires.
